I knew Dr. Magid as a leading addiction and mental health expert in our community and I have heard her speak at various professional events. She is a dynamic, insightful, thoughtful and well-researched speaker that we knew we needed to have join us for the Lowcountry Mental Health Conference. This is a decision we do not take lightly as each year we work hard to invite the very best speakers from all over the world. The popularity of her talks at our event (e.g. Adolescent Substance Abuse, Early Life Trauma) has helped us build a reputation as one of the highest quality mental health conferences in the United States. Each time she presented her talks they were the first to sell out and she was consistently one of the top rated speakers each year she joined us. Her popularity and the quality of her work convinced us in 2017 to choose her to interview one of the pioneers in mental health, Dr Irvin Yalom. Dr. Magid is one of the most engaging speakers we have had in the 12 year history of our conference. Her depth of knowledge coupled with her engaging delivery makes her a perfect speaker for any audience or conference size!

I recently had the honor of hosting Dr. Magid as the speaker at a co-sponsored continuing education event. Dr. Magid attracted an impressive assembly of professionals due to her esteemed reputation as a clinician and her knowledge on the topic of trauma. Her presentation was both dynamic and thorough, successfully engaging the audience throughout. She possesses a wonderful ability to educate while maintaining an engaging atmosphere. The feedback from attendees regarding her presentation has been overwhelmingly positive, and I eagerly anticipate collaborating with her on future events.
